Hotel a Kawana Waters

“We were very disappointed with our stay. After checking in, we found that the room had a strong unpleasant smell, the chairs were visibly stained, and the bathroom did not appear to be clean. The shower head was also not working properly, with very poor water flow, and it made a loud noise whenever it was turned on, making it an unpleasant experience to use. Because of these issues, we decided we wanted to check out early and contacted the hotel through the Expedia app to ask about the process...

“This was a quick stopover for us to get from one place to close to our next destination. Unfortunately with our timing we arrived after dark and didn't get to enjoy the views out back, but it from the pics it looked like a cute marina. It was great having a bar and restaurant out the back, and the food was delicious (staff was also wonderful). Parking was easy and close.”

“Modern, clean, well appointed condo with a beautiful view of the river. We loved the patio for sunrise coffee and nighttime cocktails with a view of the illuminated bridge.”

“The area and the facility is good.what I didn’t like is the cleanliness.there was dust everywhere.the bathroom sinks were clogged with dirt such that they weren’t draining well.”

“Very relaxing stay the staff were very friendly on arrival and showed us around the lush gardens. We had the pleasure of staying in the church loft, very unique experience. The only thing that could be improved is the light outside the church front windows (security light) in the common lounge area is on 24/7 and is very bright at night shining through the stained glass window on the front door. Shame it is not on a sensor after 9-10pm. Otherwise we would definitely come back.”

“Recommend for two night stay due to late check-in otherwise can’t really take advantage of amazing amenities. Our stay was negatively impacted with room not being ready for another hour after 3pm which is brutal with two kids but apart from that - venue and facilities look impressive”

“The staff were amazing. I was travelling with 3 kids. After getting mucked around from my previous hotel, Ashleigh on reception was amazing! The next day she moved our room to accomodate us more. I cant speak highly enough of the staff, everyone i came in contact with were awesome! I will be back. Many thanks!!”

“This place has all the aspects that could make it a winner. It's in a great spot, it has a nice distillery behind it, and it's a walk to town. Unfortunately the management is letting this place go big time. Mouldy windows, mouldy shower, big brown stains on blankets, unusable wifi, general maintenance and cleaning seems non existent. The tiled floors we gross sticky also. It's barely three stars, we never saw a staff member the entire time for check-in or out either.”

“Newly styled one bedroom cabin "villa" stayed for one night. Tidy and clean, good amenities. Couldn't fault it. Only thing is there isn't any wi-fi, althought it states free wifi on profile.”
